In the case of pus formation due to infected wounds inside the ear, wash or syringe the ears with a solution of alum in water.

Lie down, close your eyes and cover them with cotton pads or a small hanky soaked in cold water for a soothing effect on tired and itchy eyes.

Ear-ache is miraculously relieved by putting in a few drops of gingelly oil warmed together with a couple of cloves of garlic.

The oil should not be too hot but cooled to a comfortable warmth.
