Stone laid for heritage tourism works

Hyderabad : Tourism and culture minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy laid the foundation stone for heritage tourism development at Sri Talpagiri Ranganadha Swamy Temple in Nellore recently



The 600-year-old Sri Ranganadha Swamy Temple in Nellore is situated on the banks of the river Pennar and is marked by a huge 29-metre high Galigopuram with seven gold kalasams and is well-known for its architectural splendour. The heritage circuit project is taken up with an amount of Rs 3.79 crore.

 

The minister also laid the foundation stone for the heritage circuit development at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple Pechalakona in Nellore district. The presiding deity of this temple is Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, the fourth incarnation of Vishnu in Dasavatharas.
