If you happen to be a frequent flier on the Mumbai-Delhi route, then the pinch will felt from March 1 itself when taking off from Delhi will entail an extra payment of Rs 200 for domestic passengers and Rs 1,300 for international passengers.

These fares will be payable right at the time of booking tickets. “The development fee for Mumbai airport will be in force for four years, but could be reviewed after six months,” said a release issued by the civil aviation ministry. For a Mumbai-Delhi-Mumbai air passenger, it would mean paying Rs 300 extra for a return flight.
